Rehan Uddin Ahmed Raju has joined as Project Director of INCA from 17 December 2018. He is a health and development activist, having about twenty-eight years’ of experiences in health and development sector including project management, IPC, strategic communication, SBCC, community engagement, advocacy, training and capacity building, program monitoring, evaluation, networking and social/health marketing. He gained experiences in IEC/BCC material and message development and curriculum/manual development. Branding, media and event management are also areas of his expertise. Before joining INCA, he worked as Project Director (COP) of USAID funded Advancing Adolescent Health (A2H) project, implemented by Plan International Bangladesh. He has 13 years of experiences in working with USAID projects. He is experienced in working for MCH and adolescent Health, family planning (FP) and nutrition program in Bangladesh as well as experienced in coordinating and working with government health departments including Director General of Health Services (DGHS), Director General of Family Planning (DGFP), BHE, EPI and National AIDS/STD Program (NASP). He worked with VHSS, Pathfinder International, Chemonics International, UNFPA and BBC Media Action in different time. He obtained Post-Graduation Diploma on International Relations (PGDIR) from Dhaka University; MPH (Public Health) from The State University of Bangladesh and B.A (Hons), M.A. from Rajshahi University.
Lily Anthania Gomes is working as SBCC Specialist since the very beginning of this project from 15th May 2017. She holds academic degree of Master of Public Health (MPH), Masters of Social Science in Economics (MSS) and Bachelor of Education and Science. Lily has over 28 years’ experience in the development sector particularly in Adolescents Reproductive Health & Life Skill Program, Human Sexual Education, Reproductive & Child Health Development, Family Planning, Gender, Prevention and Care of PLHA, Community Health Family Life Education Program.Ms. lily hold position as Senior Manager (Health), Program Manager, Project Coordinator and Senior Trainer in Caritas Bangladesh and actively involved in program, design, planning, implementation, program and budget management, training, counseling, monitoring and supervision, Impact study and evaluation, operational manual and IEC materials.
Md. Rafiqul Islam has joined USAID’s INCA as Nutrition Specialist on 15th May 2017. He obtained his MS in Nutrition and Food Science from Institute of Nutrition and Food Science, University of Dhaka. Md Rafiqul Islam has about 7 years of professional experience working in Nutrition and Development projects. He has been with Caritas Bangladesh since November 2013 and hold different technical and managerial position. Before joining USAID’s INCA he worked in nutrition sensitive project funded by Catholic Relief Services (CRS) and Caritas Australia. He has proven expertise in coordinating and leading nutrition interventions and livelihood component as Nutrition Coordinator and Program Manager for the ESLEP/EEP/Shiree Project funded by DFID and SDC. Through this project, Md. Islam has achieved excellent results managing community based interventions to change nutritional knowledge and practice, and has coordinated and overseen all areas of project implementation. Md. Islam has keen interest to indigenous social behavior regarding food habit and practices and loves to visit remote areas.
Humaira Alif is working as Senior Expert-WIC & Gender since the beginning of this project from June 2017. She holds academic degree of Master of Economics. Humaira has progressively professional experience in food security, market development, community empowerment, women entrepreneurship, gender and nutrition and management also. She worked with SDC, CARE Bangladesh, Action Aid Bangladesh, Save the Children USA, IRRI Bangladesh and IFDC Bangladesh office as Manager, Consultant and Technical Coordinator. She has technical expertise in gender and community empowerment; and managerial qualities with analysis frameworks, budgets, staff management, gender-focused monitoring and evaluation (M&E) plans. Moreover, she possess leadership, strong ability in problem solving and decision making skills, excellent stakeholder management and relationship building skills , strong ability to multi-task and to handle complex programming challenges and she has an excellent team building, interpersonal and communication skills.
Myentthein Promila is working as Information & Communication officer since 2nd July 2017. Ms. Promila is responsible for information and communication strategy and implement branding and marking of USAID’s INCA activity. She holds academic degree of Master on Drama & Dramatics from Jahangirnagar University. Promila has 10 years working experience in the development sector. She has worked in community development, health, nutrition, water and sanitation, education, gender and human rights as technical and managerial position with Caritas Bangaldesh, European Commission & Secours Catholique Caritas France. She has strong experience in developing and designing different SBCC materials, manuals and video documentary. Ms. Promila has vast experience in voluntary works to protect and establish the rights of indigenous people of Bangladesh. She has also proven script writer, editor and anchor of Bangladesh Betar.
